Poultry Stunning Bath Current Monitor (PSM)    

Primarily developed for Animal Welfare purposes, the Poultry Stunning Bath Current Monitor (PSM) is regarded as an important tool within the industry worldwide.

The PSM is used for setting & checking the calibration of Electrical Stunning Baths and producing traceable results of electrical stunning bath currents, on a daily basis.  

The PSM can store up to 40 sets of readings (Date & time, rms current & Time in bath ), which can then be downloaded to a PC via AGL user-friendly software for quality/ verification purposes etc and to enable a full report to be generated.  The control of the process can then be audited by external organizations and veterinary personnel as required...

Utilisation of this device, should enable companies to offer confidence to their retail outlets, that the stunning process is being carried out in accordance U.K. Government & European guidelines.

The equipment is designed to work in conjunction with both AC & DC electrical stunners, and has been developed in conjunction with the Division of Food Animal Science, University of Bristol UK, and is currently being used by independent companies and major organisations worldwide.

AGL  offer a full service & calibration facility with certification on new & old equipment. Calibration is traceable to UK National Standards.
